"Yes Prime Minister."

Without a doubt the best political sit-com ever made, (but in fairness not that many were made).

Paul Edington stars as Jim Hacker , the newly promoted Minister of Administrative Affairs, an idealist who is fighting a losing battle with Sir Humphrey Appleby, the Permanent Under Secretary played by Nigel Hawthorne. Stuck in the middle is poor old Bernard Wooley (Derek Fowldes) who only knows the system because he is such a big part of it. Pollution's from every party recognized the truth in Yes Minister, In the 80's Margaret Thatcher told the press that it was her favourite show. Brilliantly written by Anthony Jay and Jonathan Lynn, Yes Minister is 38 of the best TV sit com episodes of all time.
