"I need more quality lager time."
One of the few great British comedies of the 90's. It started life as just another ITV sitcom starring Martin Cloones and Harry Enfield. Enfield was as crap as ever and thankfully was replaced by the excellent Neil Morrisey after the First season. After Thames lost it's franchise in 1993 Carlton decided not to continue with the show and in 1994 it was picked up by the BBC. It is known as The likely lads of the Nighties and is solely about Two lads who like to get drunk. Although the show will not be continuing in series form there are plan for quite a few specials. Although it is very British in humour it has been remade in the states, however I'm told it is a lot more American in content.
